I have always had a fancy for puzzles, especially jigsaw puzzles. Even as a kid, I loved stopping by the game departments in stores to marvel at the variety of puzzles. There seemed to be so many types and sizes. I think my parents found it a bit odd.
For years I enjoyed logic-based puzzles. Those that are of the “if X & Y happens what is Z” for instance. They involve the process of logical deduction to sort out the problem.
At some point, my interest shifted to picture-based jigsaw puzzles. I’m sure this made gift-giving a bit easier as jigsaw puzzles were always included on my birthday and Christmas lists.
Now, my favorite brand of jigsaw puzzles is Springbok. I love the sturdiness of each piece and they have a super variety of themes and images. I often put the puzzle together five or six times before donating them to some cause. You can only do that with well-built pieces.
Through this site, Plum Puzzled, I hope to share my jigsaw puzzle enthusiasm with you and hopefully help you find a treasure for your friends, family, and even yourself to enjoy and relax.
